PNEO-SOLES: a new line of soles made from polymer material derived from the reuse of End-of-Life Tires (ELTs) for the production of eco-friendly sports footwear.

DESCRIPTION

Through the project, the company has developed a new line of customizable and eco-friendly soles, using rubber powder obtained from the recycling of End-of-Life Tires (ELTs). These soles are intended for the foreign market, particularly in South America, for the production of eco-friendly sports sneakers. The project has enabled the implementation of two types of innovation: product innovation through the use of waste materials obtained through modern separation technologies (rubber powder from ELTs), and business approach innovation, as the project was oriented towards creating greater added value for this type of waste to make its reuse not only ecologically but also economically sustainable.
