Always oriented towards eco-sustainability, SP Plast confirms its commitment to certify and enhance the quality of recycled plastic and guaranteeing the traceability of recycled materials, also obtaining the PSV (Plastic Second Life) certification.
The applicable pre- or post-consumer certification has consequent direct advantages for sustainable development and the community. The Plastic Second Life (PSV) brand is an Environmental Product Certification system dedicated to products and materials obtained from the valorisation of plastic waste. PSV has introduced for the first time both the concept of quality in recycled plastic materials and that of traceability of plastic materials by focusing on the guarantees offered by the technical standards of the sector UNI UNIPLAST 10667 and by the checks carried out by accredited certification bodies. It applies the concept of “traceability” of recycled materials and calculates their content according to the provisions of the UNI EN ISO 14021 standard. The certification activity that leads to obtaining the PSV mark is carried out only by Certification Bodies recognized by IPPR.
